Ways We Build Community

01

Civic Engagement through Get Out the Vote Initiatives

Our Get Out the Vote (GOTV) initiatives is dedicated to inspiring and mobilizing voters and encouraging them to actively engage in elections by exercising their right to vote. These multifaceted initiatives employ diverse strategies, including building a strong foundation within our community, educational outreach, voter registration drives, phone and text banking, as well as on-site community canvassing

02

Strategic Community Organizing

Centered around our community and driven by our commitment to serve, amplify and build community power, we collaborate with local and statewide partners and individuals to address issues, advocate for change, and collectively build community power.

03

Impactful Issue Advocacy

In the dynamic landscape of today, we recognize the profound impact of policies and issues on our community, spanning areas such as public education, clean drinking water, access to public services, and local ordinances. Collaborating with our community, we strive to influence policy decisions, aiming to effect meaningful and tangible change. This involves raising awareness, mobilizing support, and ultimately driving action to address pressing concerns.

04

Intentional Leadership Development

Our community thrives when individuals who resonate with our shared lived experiences actively participate in decision-making processes that influence us all. Therefore, we are dedicated to purposefully nurturing the leadership of young and emerging leaders, fostering their personal growth, and equipping them to lead with a foundation grounded in our core principles of gender, racial, and social justice
